Shopee Mall has housed more than 20,000 brands since 2017.

E-commerce platform Shopee has launched new initiatives and features for its space Shopee Mall during the inaugural Shopee Brands Summit 2021 held in Singapore.

Shopee also shared its 2021 roadmap for brands to capture the next wave of growth in the region’s US$172b e-commerce market as consumers shop and spend more online.

Amongst these initiatives are increasing brand awareness and reach amongst different consumer segments, providing brands with more ways to connect and engage with existing consumers, and optimising brands’ performance with enhanced data-driven tools

The company has also announced two programmes to help brands maximise their online potential. This includes the Regional Champion Brands Programme, a by-invite programme where brands will receive priority support from Shopee in the areas of marketing, innovation, and insights.

The second programme is the 100 Million Dollar Club, which challenges brands to achieve US$100m in gross merchandise value within the year. The first 10 brands to unlock this milestone will be rewarded privileged access to exclusive business insights, increased campaign exposure, media support and more.

“As opportunities in Southeast Asia’s digital economy continue to flourish, we are committed to strengthening our support for brands to boost their online presence, drive sales and serve consumers better,” Shopee CEO Chris Feng said.

According to him, Shopee Mall has housed more than 20,000 international and local brands since its launch in 2017. Since launching Shopee Mall, orders have also grown by 10 times.
